Terms of Service

Last updated: April 10, 2026

By using CurveSlicer, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. What CurveSlicer is

CurveSlicer is a free, browser-based tool that connects to your Google Search Console account and analyses click-through rate patterns across ranking positions. It is provided as-is for informational and analytical purposes.

CurveSlicer is currently free to use. We reserve the right to introduce paid features or pricing tiers in the future, with reasonable advance notice to existing users.

2. Eligibility

You may use CurveSlicer if you:

  • Are at least 13 years of age
  • Have a valid Google account with access to at least one verified Google Search Console property
  • Agree to comply with Google's Terms of Service, including the Google API Services User Data Policy, as they apply to your use of Search Console data
  • Agree to these Terms of Service

3. Your Google account and data

CurveSlicer connects to Google Search Console using OAuth 2.0. By authorising this connection, you grant CurveSlicer read-only access to your Search Console data for the purpose of generating click curve analysis.

You are responsible for:

  • Ensuring you have the right to access the Google Search Console properties you connect
  • Keeping your Google account credentials secure
  • Revoking CurveSlicer's access if you no longer wish to use the service (via Google Account Permissions)

CurveSlicer's access to your data is described in detail in our Privacy Policy. In summary: all data is processed in your browser and stored in your browser's localStorage. None of your Search Console data is transmitted to or stored on CurveSlicer's servers.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use CurveSlicer to:

  • Access Search Console data for properties you do not have authorisation to access
  • Circumvent, reverse engineer, or interfere with the service or its underlying code
  • Use the service in any way that violates Google's API Terms of Service or the Google API Services User Data Policy
  • Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the service or its output without permission
  • Use the service for any unlawful purpose

5. No warranty

CurveSlicer is provided "as is" without any warranty, express or implied. We do not warrant that:

  • The service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or always available
  • The analysis, narratives, or signals produced are accurate, complete, or suitable for any particular purpose
  • Results will meet your specific expectations or requirements

CurveSlicer's analysis is based on Google Search Console data and statistical methods. It is intended to surface directional insights, not to serve as a definitive source of truth. You should exercise your own judgement when acting on any analysis the tool produces.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, CurveSlicer and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the service, including but not limited to loss of revenue, loss of data, or business interruption.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these terms or your use of the service shall not exceed the amount you paid to use CurveSlicer in the twelve months preceding the claim. Since CurveSlicer is currently free, that amount is zero.

7. Intellectual property

CurveSlicer and its design, code, visual elements, and methodology are owned by its operators. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of the service without written permission, except as permitted by applicable law.

The analysis and output generated from your own Search Console data belongs to you.

8. Third-party services

CurveSlicer uses the following third-party services:

We are not responsible for the practices of these third-party services.

9. Changes to the service

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue CurveSlicer at any time, with or without notice. We will make reasonable efforts to provide advance notice of significant changes or discontinuation.

We also reserve the right to update these Terms of Service. Continued use of CurveSlicer after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the operators of CurveSlicer are based, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.
